Family Service & Guidance Center

The new Youth Crisis & Recovery Center will be completed and opening their doors this fall. Our team at Architect One was commissioned to review the existing facilities at Family Service and Guidance Center to find a solution for their growing need to better serve the demand for the services they provide throughout the state.

Their new Youth Crisis & Recovery Center will be able to serve up to 24 children and teens at a time who are experiencing extreme mental health crises and substance use disorders. While working with The Family Service & Guidance Center, we used principles of evidence-based and trauma informed design to guide us during this project. This facility will be a space for children and teens in crisis to feel safe and secure while they start the process of healing.
