Say Ciao to Caterina!

Say Ciao, to Caterina Savini, our newest Associate Project Manager. From Ravenna, Italy, Caterina came to the US as part of a high school study abroad program in Carthage, Missouri and this adventure is what led her to Drury University in Springfield. “I always knew I wanted to travel, and that art and architecture intrigued me, so when I found out about the great architecture program at Drury University, I decided to take the leap and move to the US,” Caterina shared.

Growing up in Italy, she became very aware of the influence a building environment can have on humans, and that was a fascinating relationship to Caterina. As a creative and logical/scientific-oriented person, architecture was the perfect fit. “I am very invested in sustainability and the implications of sustainability in architecture. We as designers have a huge responsibility to use our tools to educate and improve the world one project at a time.”

Caterina is a baker, painter, pottery artist, avid book reader, podcast listener and pushes her fears to the limits with rock climbing! We are thrilled to have her on our team and are excited to see her grow as a young professional. If you see Caterina around our office, make sure and ask her about her traveling adventures and give yourself time because this list is VERY long.
